Most of the people there were on drugs, particularly amphetamine. Andy was the ringleader who everyone wanted a piece of. Everyone wanted to get to that point and everyone wanted to be cool. So they velvet underground the band. They go to Midtown Manhattan, the Factory, on East 47th Street. It's like an explosion of just silver, silver,. silver, silver, silver everywhere - all done with a little bit of spray paint and hundreds and hundreds of rolls of aluminum foil.
