Do You Think That Mathematics Are Discovered or Invented?

Do you think that mathematics are discovered or invented? I guess human beings choose the axioms for mathematics and then the rest of the math that comes out of those axioms would be discovered. But do you think that it's something that was inevitable for us to advance in mathematics? I think so.
