Matthew White's Alibi
Matthew White was known to have visited the Acort family home about an hour after the murder. He said he'd just gone up there to tell them that he'd seen something going on and he wanted to see what it was all about. But police accepted that, but he was sort of all over the case really because he was a lot of people who seem to know who was responsible for what had happened. Simms has got it from him, including like a really important informant who walked into police station the day after the murder and knew a lot. Eventually was established that that informant got his information from Matthew White, who was his friend.
