We're Stuck in This Problem of the Right Lens
The Labour Party seems like a very outcomes oriented party in a way that I don't think the Liberal Party of Canada or the Democrats are. The trouble is you can't bite off these smaller chunks until you address the problem of a American's million veto points and our culture of not doing anything. And it really feels like we're stuck, right? Because yeah, it's hard to be a pragmatic incrementalist when you can't actually do the increments because the big picture is so messed up.
