The Ripple Decision and the Luna Case
The Luna case in front of Judge Rakoff was apparently a bit of a departure from the Torres doctor, I guess, in the Ripple case. The Judge in this case held that basically all the Lunas' Teras were securities. Some commentators, including from the very regrettable Bitcoin Maxi crowd, felt that this kind of made the Ripple decision invalid. Not true at all.
