The bill would make it illegal to teach homosexuality and transgenderism in florida's public schools. "I don't knowi tried to understand what was in the bill, but obviously those are two very different things," he says. The question is: What should the state be teaching kids? And how much influence should voters and parents have over that curriculum? It seems to me that, a, the government is meant to serve the people, even if they're swrong, bigoted, stupid.
