Menopausal Hormonal Therapy - What Are the Current Indications for Menopause Hormone Therapy?

Menopause hormone therapy has been informed by some of the key trials you discussed earlier. The primary indication for menopausal hormone therapy would be to give relief of moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms. That determination of severity, degree of severity of symptoms has to be individualized according to each individual patient. For example, an increased risk of venous thromboembolism or stroke and in the case of combined estrogen and progesterone therapy, there's a slightly increased risk of breast cancer.
