The Future of Retirement

There's a big pot of resources out there that would finance conceivably lots earlier retirement. I just don't think that it's available given the chronic amounts of deficits and the debt, nor do I think it's politically achievable. One of the really interesting things that it seems we could do is to essentially monetize this range of desires about when to retire. You can imagine scenarios in which employers set up graduated retirement where they're really tapping into the knowledge and skills of some of their longest tenure workers.
