Young Women and Alcohol Drinking Practices
The drinking occasion is what becomes important, and that drunkenness is very much part of the rules that govern the practice. In order to properly participate in this, you have to get drunk. So young men and young women are drinking similar amounts. I mean young women haven't quite caught up here with young men, but they are the closest that they have been for decades. And so appropriate looking this study was very sexualised. It was very feminine and appearance. So full makeup, stylised hair that could be curled or straightened. Quite often it would be a dress, a short dress. It would definitely be high heels. Charlotte in my paper says it will be full face of makeup
