The EU's Backdoor System Costs Russia Money
Bulgaria is buying up zero gas coming in through Azerbaijan, but Azerbaijan isn't under EU sanctions either. This giant loophole allows the EU to import Russian oil through Bulgaria and have it labeled on paper as Bulgarian oil. It's unclear whether Bulgaria will be able to capitalize on this in two years time. China has also been starting to invest large amounts of money into this region.
