The SEC's Overlook of Cryptocurrency Exchanges

Coinbase contends that those conversations never led towards any kind of path towards registration. I think the SEC really wants these businesses to look meaningfully different than they do right now. It does feel like, although I have no idea what's happening behind the scenes, no one does,. Maybe the SEC is reaching out to these companies and these individuals like repeatedly and trying to work with them.
