In the 19 nineties, in this neo liberal no moment of the so called end of history, a lot of that was not only built on suer exploitation of labor in the global south, specifically in asia. Now we see a massive rise of living standards in in china and viet nam, and to a lesser extent, in donesia and india. And i mean, specifically, europe clearly wants to get access to very cheap russian energy - which is better relied on in the 19 Nineties.
