The Unrealistic Universe

Sam made the point about Sam Harris's example being unrealistic and the universe isn't that way. But let me try to now give a more realistic example since I agree Sam's example isn't the best. Imagine something like this, a piece of the sun kicks itself out. It's hurtling towards Earth and it's going to destroy all life on Earth. That would be an interesting and insoluble problem.
