The Importance of Being a Columnist

After my freshman year at Bonaventure. I just sort of sat down one day and wrote him a note to say, "I think you're the best" And he sent it back in two page type written corrected with like, with, with, you know, hand corrected and also with white out. He gave very specific advice about the kind of stories you should be doing. You know, don't worry about the green eyeshade. Write your column. Just be a columnist. So we were ahead of our time. If it was today, we just put a poster on our website. It's a tweet; that's what newspapers do now.
