Is There a Point at Which You Have to Add New Features?

i have struggled with deciding when in the cycle is ok to sort of add new features. Is there a point at which you have to stop? And so, like, i've a little tradition for myself where usually it's about two or three weeks out of when i expect the event is going to be. I do bug fixes, i can do performance inhancement, soen things. It feels like i can change a little bit my mentality around what i'm going to tackle.
