The Importance of Testability in Science

Scientific theories can and do get stronger over time by which we might just mean become more detailed and contain more empirical content. A theory is only scientific if it is testable in the first place. So remember that testability equals empirical content. Here's a quote from Popper in logic of scientific discovery. I admit a system as empirical or scientific only if it is capable of being tested by experience.
