Odd memes and out-of-character comments were suddenly cropping up all over his page. Charlie's friends suspected that the person responsible for the couple's disappearance was behind them. One of the most disturbing posts read, Sometimes late at night, I dig a hole in the backyard to keep the nosy neighbors guessing. When Charlie and Alana got together, he had been going through an acrimonious divorce.
