The Role of the First Judge in Federal Lawsuits
The person at issue doesn't even have an active graphic design business. It's sort of a theoretical hypothetical that in the future they may be compelled to design gay websites, which they don't like. But putting that aside, there's an actual judge there who gets assigned your case. And what does that first judge do? The job of the trial judge is to decide what the lawsuit even is and figure out whether the plaintiffs have any kind of claim.
