If nominalism is true, what happens to the dictionary? Like, what what do we say about a tree? How do we define tree? Can wea con we defined tree? If there are no different kinds of things. That sounds like strange, right up abat. What do you mean there are different kinds of thing? Ah, because whey're all just discreet individual or each individual thing is a totally unique kind. But they don't really say that either. Or there's two ways to put it, one as you can't classify things into common kinds, like natural kinds. So cats are somehow the same kind of thing, dogs are somehow same kind ofthing. Ah
