Putin's Decision to Use a Nuclear Weapon on the Front Lines
Putin has to have a pretty high degree of confidence before he places that nuclear card. Traditional cruise missiles are only about 30% effective in reaching a target. You would need to potentially fire three nuclear weapons in order to have one of them get through. This is probably the most dangerous it's been in terms of what the probabilities are for nuclear war, says Peter Bergen.
