Generalized Occurrence Seizures

The three types of focal onset seizures are focal aware, focal with impaired awareness and focal to bilateral tonic tonic. Then we move on to seizures of generalized onset. And again sometimes we use the slang of generalized to refer exclusively to a bilateral tonictonic tonic seizure. This is only one of the six types of a generalized seizure. Epileptic spasms can occur in individuals that are out of infancy as well.
