Machine learning is the ultimate crossover between qualitatiove research and quantittyve number crunching. It just is supercul but it sort of gives you boring outpots, like they're just exile spread sheets. But i started to map the the number of jobs and how they've dropped over last six months. That is mildly depressing. But the good news, initialty from that looks like at least the post phd. Job market is holding pretty strong.
