Yuma Valley is home to 90% of all winter leafy greens in the U.S. It's fertile land and nearly year around sunshine but some farmers say as they look towards the future the writing is on the wall. There are other techniques though to reduce water demands on the river from things like power plants. People have learned to effectively reduce the amount of water they need to maintain their existing lifestyle.
The Colorado River is disappearing and the government is now spending millions on one wild idea to ease the pain: seeding clouds to make it rain.
