History of the English Civil War in the 1500s

Until 1588, the Spanish navy had ruled the oceans. They had semi-monopoly of her colonization in the New World. Unable to challenge the Spanish Armada directly, other European powers could do little but pick up the cramps of the wealth that the Spaniards were stealing from the Americas. The fourth raid in America would involve the Dutch, the French and even the British, and of course native Americans. Europe by this point had already largely wiped out much of its natural environment, so the demand was there. It was still demand for force, but there was no supply, so they started looking into North America to try to satisfy this demand.
