Zahawi's Transphobic Dog Whistle
The statement says that Zahawi has in the past made a transphobic remark such as using the common transphobic dog whistle, adult human female. It adds: Given that transphobia is omnipresent in society, it is imperative for the mental well-being of trans students that the university make itself clear that it is indeed supportive of transgender individuals. So what can we learn from this statement? I really just want to look at its form rather than this content because I think it's quite generic.
