How to React to Bad Things
I think when something is going badly, the time to react to that bad thing should be as short as possible. The sooner you can shorten that thinking time to make a decision, the better. I look at my younger self, 24-year-old self, that time to make the decision to change was much longer. We get to a point in time where you're super dissatisfied with the job because you're not succeeding and having a fun time. If we'd actually made that decision to take action sooner and pay close attention to what's going on, it probably wouldn't be where we are today.
