Europe's Energy Crisis Is a Big Deal
For the past 20 years, european nations have shut down many of their coal fire plants because of climate change. The major l n g facility that could ship that gas out blew up a week ago and it likely won't be back on line for at least six months. You just can't quickly increase power from solar or wind like you can with fuels like coal. So capitals from paris to berlin are diverting whatever natural gas they can get hold of into storage tanks.
