Unshared revenue for teams grew from 12% in 1994 to 21% in 2003 and is over 30% today. It's okay as long as the local revenue doesn't become too big of a part. But at some point, you have to imagine that what is 48.8% of league average could be 90% of what I make as a team with a crappy stadium. So this potentially could create a big imbalance.

The NFL — it’s almost synonymous with America today. And its history is a fascinating lens to explore the nation’s development over the last 100 years, from WWII to TV and suburbs to the Internet and social media. What began as a quasi-illicit league in small midwestern towns is now the single largest media property in the world today by revenue.
