You served on the Justice Committee under Sir Bob Neil, who I know you're respect. He questioned whether it was good value for money to introduce changes that would cost more than the entire budget of the parole board without any strong evidence that the changes would keep the public any safer. Well, he's, I do respect Bob, and therefore I'll listen very carefully to what he has to say. This has got to be operationalised in the way that is deliverable and is affordable.
