Price Controls Lead Inevitably to Slavery
If indeed, we get price controls, you will then see shortages. You will then hear politicians saying that the shortages are deliberate on the part of the companies to punish us for these price controls. The only place you can end up is it mandated labor where the government tells you you must go out and work. And when's the last time there was somebody in the news lighting themselves on fire? What level of hardship we're dealing with? We were dealing with the Vietnam War.
