How to Write a Good Introduction to a Book
A lot of scholars feel like their introduction is the most frustrating part to write or that they get stuck because they want to start writing our manuscript at the beginning with the introduction. Is there a value to looking at the introduction when you're partway through or even at the end? I think scholarly authors often need to be reassured about is that you can give it away in the intro. The intro can't be, you know, suspenseful or like holding something back hoping to entice people to read it really needs to like not waste their time and say this is what you'll get from this book.
