Is There a God Ora That Comes With Journalism?

On the two extremes are you get all your knowledge by anecdote and statistics. And most of us, our eyes glaze over with statistics. So it makes sense to have something like a news outlet that can speak authoritatively for us. I wish that there was a place for good journalism, because theoretically it should play a really vital role in our republic. But the way in which we can be manipulated of what are the issues should care about, how should they be framed? It just feels really problematic.
