Ein Rand: A Tragic Figure

Do you see Ein Rand as fundamentally a tragic figure? Like she had this early trauma with the Russian Revolution that she was never really able to get past. Her inner circle fell apart because she was so jealous of her lover's new girlfriend, Nathaniel Brandon. And I think she would have been a lot happier if she just understood that, you know, it's not all perfectly rational.
