Papa Alva and Mamma Vesta
Mamma vesta was born in 18 o one in a town named greenwich, massachusetts. This was also the same town where papa alva grew up. Both of mary's parents were from old new england stock. Mamma's family was extremely progressive for its time. Its views on the roll of women, religion and abolition were very radical.
