The Importance of Universality in Economics
I was wondering if you could just say a bit more about why you think it's useful to be able to explain economic power as something that you subsumes all of our metabolism. I don't know how controversial does seem to have a firm basis in Marx and I think it makes a lot of sense is that economic power is not simply one class of people bear the brunt of economic power, another class of people simply exert economic power. It seems like you know what might be controversial about your account of economic power. Even capitalists are subsumed by economic power even against the proletariat or the working class. You give with one hand and take with the other - go to it as they say.
