The Australian Initiative to Regulate Antidepressants

We probably know more about how these drugs were than traditional antidepressants. We can image the brain after the treatment, and we can show that there are changes in brain connectivity and flexibility which predict the outcome. So it's a really perverse regulatory system which as I say has censored research for over 50 years. It needs to be changed urgently for the sake of patients as well as researchers.
