A couple rednecks accused a jogger of a crime he didn't commit, and then confronted him with a shotgun. When you know all the facts, you know that these guys were scared because there had been burglaries. A private person may arrest an offender if the offence is committed in his presence or within his immediate knowledge. To put it simply, if some one commits a misdemeanour, you have to know they did it. If someone you believe your probable causeo has committed a felon, probably, i believe they just killed somebody,. They just murdered one that person, and they're in flight, right? So they're not waiting for the cops to show up, right
