The Future of Nuclear Weapons

The last nuclear reduction treaty was the new start treaty that was negotiated in 2010 when entered into force shortly thereafter. Every single nuclear arm nation there are nine countries in the world with nuclear weapons from Russia all the way down to North Korea. There's no talk about having a new treaty. The Ukrainian war has elevated the risks of these in a way that we haven't seen since the Cuban Missile Crisis or perhaps the early 1980s.
