The Human Proclivities of Reporting Good Information

In the last couple of years, I've seen most media outlets willing to report a number in terawatts or megawatt hours. Up until then, it always had to be 1.5 million homes worth or something. There's a fundamental literacy issue there too that was sort of inhibiting the reporting of good information or optimistic stories. So I want to explore those human proclivities more in a little bit.
