Socrates and his acolyte go to the marketplace. Socrates is anxious to hear gorgias, a rhetorician who can give a speech at any point at any time. Gorgias says he will treat them to another display right now if they want it. So here we have calically is inviting everybody back to his home and Socrates then becomes mildly interested.
