Spangler and Monopthalamos

I'd love to come back and keep talking this as you can see from my Twitter account I gratuitously probably to the point of nausea for some people talk about Spangler so I'm always on for it. So there would definitely be more talk on Spangler. This was a good primer though you know your stuff really really well. Cool. Well, we didn't get to the Meiji in civilization I wanted to discuss that but it's really not really relevant to the thrust of the conversation we were having but it is interesting to talk about.
