The ITC's No Jurisdiction on the Israeli Palestinian Disput
There were numerous attempts to try to invoke ITC jurisdiction long before the current run. The primary attempt was about four years ago when the Palestinian Minister of Justice actually sent a letter to the former prosecutor of Campo, and said to him that Palestine accepts the court jurisdiction. Now, this is another interesting example. The Campo has publicly stated that the court has no jurisdiction on the Israeli Palestinian dispute two weeks before that letter taken. Then you try to do the same thing as international criminal. As I was the senior lawyer that's really discussing the ITC, we recognize this in advance and that was our primary reason of joining the court in the first place.
