Teaching Medical Anthropology: The Culture of Medicine

As a medical anthropologist, you teach a lot of premed students and other students interested in health fields. And so i wonderm if you include these insights from the book in your class. I mean, ther there's a growing school of thought that is pushing for more medical students to take medical humanities in any shape or form. So we will be discussing it next week. It felt slightly self serving, right, too assign my own book. But colleagues really supported me, and so i have assigned it to my to my students.
