In the 2019 opinion for Rucho v. Common Cause, SCOTUS decided federal courts can no longer get involved in partisan gerrymandering claims. The court said it's a non-justiciple political issue and the federal courts aren't going to have anything to do with it. That brings us to Bronwyn's second question: How exactly is any of this legal?
