The Church Power Is Not There to Control People

According to the regulative principle, when the church puts something in the bulletin, you have your elements. But if we have the elements of worship, you say, please rise for the call to worship. That's the church and the officers of that church saying, thus saith the lord. Participate in this. When we pray, you must pray. When we when we sing praises unto our god. That is something that's not optional, you know, in the broader scheme. So there's a connection here that te the proper exercise of church authority.
