Inscription is also known as cryptography. The government created an inscription standard that it let people use, so that there could be at least some incription a. But it was very, very weak. This standard was known as d e s and stood for data inscription standard. With it, you can incrept your data or a message, and anyone who reads the inscryptin message could not understand what it said. And the person receiving the message had a key to decrypt the message. By the time the internet was taking shape, d e s had already been around for 20 years and was starting to show its age.
