AMSA's Education Advocacy Fellow: Physician Burnout and Suicide Prevention

With AMSA, I'm focusing on physician burnout and suicide prevention. We are focusing on how we can change the culture of well being in medicine to not only include our patients, but also include our providers. Some of the work that I've done over this last year has been actually pretty exciting. There's a long history that physicians do not feel safe to access their own mental health care because state medical boards ask them about it.
