The New Testament Definition of Freedom and Slavery
Freedom is about freedom from not only external oppression, a pharaoh in exodus or nero in the roman empire ind the new testament. It's much more interested in freedom from internal oppression, the slavery to desire to sin. The opposite of freedom, which has been re defined as essentially options, is restraint. No longer is it freedom from now it is freedom to it is the ability to do whatever the hell we want my word choice was deliberate there.
