CNN's John Sutter sat down with him to talk about the role of fishing in our ancestors' lives. The only true bone in a fish is called an oodlelith, which is this little tiny microscopic in many cases bone that's part of their ear. It's very difficult to identify what animal they're from because they've been degraded so far. But we do have some ideas and I'll obviously share everything that I can or that I know about that.
