Metapolic Equivalent of Task, or Mets

A metapolic equivalent of task is an objective measure of the rate at which a person expends energy to the person's mass while performing some specific physical activity. And in a good cut off, i think, for whether or not somebody needs a further work up or not, is four mets. So if they can achieve over four mets, it's pretty we can be pretty confident they're ging to be able to tolerate a surgery.
